My latest fill up was $3.53 a gallon at a Wawa in Downingtown. I went on a roadtrip last weekend around Pennsylvania and saw prices at 3.39 at other Wawas and I think as low as 3.31.

Be happy you're not in the Seattle-Tacoma Washington area. My last fillup was $4.27 for a gallon of regular! It has since come "down" to $4.17.
Some BS about refinery maintenance and supply issues. So nice of them to schedule maintenace just in time for the Memorial Day rush. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.........

Gas was $3.36 on Saturday July 28th when we filled up my mom's Vibe. By Tuesday July 31st when we filled my Vibe up, it had jumped to $3.69
!

At the Citgo I pass everyday on my way to and from work (not the one I get gas at though), regular unleaded was $3.67 on Thursday and had jumped to $3.95 yesterday morning. It has gone up about $0.60 in less than a week. W T F
!?!

YEP. When you say "surrounding areas" you pretty much mean the entire mid-west & then some

I hope the weather stays mild for a little while I can either. Drive without a/c, or take the triumph and give the vibe a little rest.

On a roadtrip in the GF's Cruze. Gas prices I've seen so far:
Calgary - $1.179/L
Golden, BC- $1.319/L
Langley, BC - $1.385/L
Victoria, BC - $1.289/L
BC Ferry from the mainland to the island - Two people + car: $84..... One way.

It's been pretty stable here in Ottawa. I haven't paid less than $1.18/L or more than $1.24 in about 6 months. Been hovering around $1.22 for the past month.

I so happened to need gas today and the place I went to must have been the one that hasn't lowered their prices yet. So, as usual EVERYONE was there filling up before the price increased. Mob mentality, just like the milk-and-breaders around here who raid the grocery stores when flurries are in the forecast.
Paid $3.63, everywhere else was $3.99.

It's gone up out here. The Citgo in downtown Sandwich that I go by everyday on my way to and from work is back up to $3.95. I have to go fill my mom's Vibe up tomorrow so it will be interesting to see what the price will be at the Citgo we go to in the next town over...

Well, it was $4.05 this morning at the Citgo we get gas at in the next town to the west of Sandwich (Somonauk).
It went from $3.79 last Sunday (August 26th) to $4.05 today (August 31st). I love how it never goes down anywhere near as fast as it goes up
