Filled up at $3.92 a gallon yesterday evening at the last station in my tiny town that was the cheapest. Everybody else raised theirs to $4.15.Then, everyone jumps on the complaining bandwagon.Tonight it's $3.91. I guess big oil was listening to Joe Schmoe complaining on facebook. heh

This weekend I found a Wawa in Bear, Delaware that was selling gas for only $3.67 a gallon. Near work gas is about $3.81 and for some reason the overpriced Sunoco near home is still charging over $4...although maybe it is in the upper $3.90s today.

$39.95 for 11.1 gallons of 89 octane (I didn't trust the green 87 pump). Gas in Iowa is still cheaper. There was one place where 87 was $3.49, and premium was $3.39!

Saturday, May 26 paid 3.709 for 87 octane at Shell. Had 20 cents/gal credit on my Kroger Card for a net of $3.509. A little less than 10 gal - last fill up was April 23 at 3.559. No Kroger Card credit on that fill up. As you can see we don't drive much. I have an 80 cent/gal credit on my Giant Eagle card for one fill-up - but it is only valid at their Get Go stations. The price of oil would seem to translate to a lower gas price but I guess the refiners are making a little money these days. Columbus Metro prices are between 3.60 and 3.80 so where I was at was about in the middle. I am willing to pay a little more for a top tier gas like Shell. [Discover Card is giving 5% rebate on gasoline this quarter so that helps. I have another card that always gives a 3% rebate on gasoline. Got to stick it to those banks whenever you can.]
