I will be 31 next month. And since the Vibe is technically my wife's, she will be 30 next week.So I will only vote for myself, since she will probably never actually be on the message board...ChrisLansing, MI

Will be 37 in March. Just passed my first month with my 04 GT and I love it more each day. It is the 4th Pontiac I have owned. Traded in my 97 Bonneville SE for it. My wife drives a 95 Sunfire. My first Pontiac was a 77 Firebird Formula. I blew the first motor at the drags. So we built another 400 V8 specifically for racing. Competed in my high school drags back in the 80's and ran consistently around 12.10 (pretty respectable time for back then). My 'Bird was a blast but I like my GT better. I can actually drive it in snow!!!

I'm 47 in March. Went from a 92 Lexus ES to an 03 Salsa Vibe GT. (85 S-10 Blazer before that.) I keep cars a while but like to change my type of car when I do buy one. Only thing I really miss from the Lexus is the automatic climate control.Got 4 kids, oldest of which just got his license. He's driving our 93 Previa (and not happy about it) when it dies I will probably let him drive the Vibe and get something else. No mods, but I like the 6 speed and lift! Plus the backseat is more comfortable than the Lexus, good for taking kids places!

The Vibe is a lady's car. Disagree as you wish, but you'll be all wet. But I'm a 62 year old guy who enjoys driving this car even more than I enjoy my great Grand Prix GTP.

Nah, you're not old. I think I've entered a new category since I first took this poll as well...it's interesting to go back through the old replies and see the differences between "then" and "now." In a couple of years we might be needing a new poll!

I guess it is a radical change from something like a 4 door Buick LeSabre. But my guess is someone 62 years old doesn't dress the same or like to the same music as someone much younger either.

Although my GP is a better car in all ways that count (comfort, acceleration, etc.) the Vibe is just plain more fun. Most Vibe owners I see around here are young ladies.I'm still a kid at heart and probably dress pretty much the same as you. You are right about the music business, though, 'cause your's sucks! Give me the oldies anytime.

By "around here" I'm talking about Vibe drivers I see driving in my local area - not those who post on this board. Lets face it, and no sexism intended, but most females simply want a car to take them from here to there and wouldn't even so much as consider changing a spark plug. Lots of guys are that way, too, and I dare say they don't visit this board.I would guess the female to male ratio of Vibe drivers in my area is about three to one, maybe even four to one. It would be interesting to see sales figures from Pontiac. Face it: We love a cute, adorable ladie's car!

37 here and I question whether I'm too old to put a Magnaflow on my Vibe. If I get a resounding NO WAY, Get one Your not that old! Then I guess I will have no excuse but to do so.By the way, I've been blurting out the word Magnaflow around my wife. She asks me what the hell is that, and I just reply Magnaaaflowwww.Taught my 2 yr old to say it too. I'm thinking once I get it, and the misses says "what's wrong with your car, it don't sound right to me"....."MAGNAAAAFLOWWWW"....heheheheh.e......we husbands are so sneaky.

25 and about to buy my vibe tomorrow night...driving up to sign the papers and pick up a neptune 2003 with moons and tunes, power, some other goodies and 22,000 miles, plus an extended warrenty till 83,000.After my experiance with my 2000 blazer (my current car) i need the warrenty... that thing has something go wrong ever other month, either radio, electircal, relays, always something, and by the end of it, it's always about $1000+. Plus today it rolled over 75,000 miles, so the warrenty is over...So far it's almost all been covered completely by warrenty, except a few things that were like $50-60, but i'm never buying a blazer again. I loved it, just way too expensive over and over...

From the July 3rd NYTimes"....Graying baby boomers have co-opted many of the vehicles intended for buff young people. The median age of those driving the Pontiac Vibe, a small wagon similar to the Matrix, is 48.2; CNW says the anticipated age had been 30.2...."For the complete article on-line see http://www.nytimes.com/2005/07....html

Abby-vibe03I'm 53 and got my 04 Vibe with moons and toons and added my ownsubwoofer in rear. No, I'm not going through a mid-life crisis, just thought the Vibe was great for the money.(Especially since I got GM Suppliers discount in addition to rebates. And figured it would be a nice tight, long-lasting car since it's really a Matrix in disguise.
