we may be screwed by the custom fee, so I think we should buy it all together to be able to split it... Polo, maybe you can ask everybody to give you an order (color, # of sets, and type), email that list to the guy, so he'll be able to give you a special price from that list. I start! I want... well, you aready know what I want

Ok, I called one of my "go to" guy about the Luminics and he said that here in Quebec, they may not be popular (yet?). But from what he saw, it didn't look to him as they had something better than other "more popular" brand that is on sale here... He is selling either Eurolight or Nokya. He said that Eurolight burn rather quickly (like silverstar) but he doesn't have any problem with the Nokya. Basically, Nokya and Luminics "claim" pretty much the same 55w that perform like a 120w. I checked on Ebay and the difference of price between the two seems to be around 6-7$ depending on the price of the shipping. He is ready for a group buy to sell them at 25$ plus taxes. Remember, he is from here, not the state, so that is $can$ no customs to pay, no shipping to pay and a lot easier to get a replacement bulb if one blow. Are they as good as the Luminics? Your guess is as good as mine. While browsing the internet, I found that:
http://www.montrealracing.com/...70301Around 320$ for an HID kit, tax free for november. Maybe better price for a few kit...Alright, that was all I had to say and sorry if I hijacked your post, POLO.

I'm ready to go with that.xrs06, what is the difference between what we are about to buy and the HID kit you talked about??

Here is a site that explain a bit about the HID:
http://www.halcyon.net/lights/hid-faq.shtmlBasically it gives you 2 to 3 times the light of a regular light at 1/3 the watts. That is the kinda light you see on Mercedes and BMW, the one with a bluish tone to it. They also last way longuer then halogen. Here are a few more sites:
http://www.meccatune.com/eng/info/hid.a ... ....htmlAs for the comparison between the luminics and the Nokya, like I said before, I've never tried them so your guess as to which one is better is as good as mine. The only thing that is a bit scary about the luminics is their availability. If there is a defect with one, even though it is under warranty, it's a **** to get a new one with maybe, again, custom to pay for your replacement...Really didn't want to be a party p**per guys...

you have a good arguement here... it will probably eisier to buy remplacement for Nokya and custom fee. Why not? 25$ CDN, instead of 30-35 U$ plus custom fees, it's a good deal.

What do you guys think of this one, it's within Canada, there are 10 sets, should I try it???
http://cgi.ebay.ca/H4-Luminics...wItemLet me know if your are still interrested. We could probably try that one first before going with XRS06.I know there's a reserve but we could try it.

I'm really busy right now with my study, so I don't have time to check which deal is better. I let this to do, as long as I can have my pure blue head and fog lights

So many people, so many choices, so many tastes, very difficult to satisfy them all in one purchase!!!POLO, does Scott mind not knowing the color or the series now, as long as he knows how many sets alltogether he could sell? Can he give us a price for let say 10 sets? Shipping included? That way it would be easier for us to judge the deal.Basically what is scaring me (maybe some of you too) is that we went from paying roughly 16$us to close to 30$us, almost double the original deal. Even though the Ebay deal MIGHT be a good one, they are only headlight, no fog, and only one color. Thewhite wants blue head and blue fog. The worst thing to do is to try and save a few dollars but starting not to consider what others want. Let's make sure in the deal we will have, we can get as many people in...

Hey guys, I just received an answer from the guy on ebay. 50$ is the reserve. Do you guys want to try to make a deal. I would try to buy the 10 set of each, so the fog and the headlight all in one package. The only thing I need to know is if everybody can live with the fact that these are HYPERWHITE and not PUREBLUE. I just dont want to buy of ten sets for myself. so let me know guys.thanks

well if the best deal, and the easier one, is if everybody goes with ultra white, I will feel bad not to be in for saving money and pay over hundred dollars like Fred for my pure blue, or worst if you can't do it (or pay more) cause of my obscession of pure blue...

So, quickly:100$US for the 2 packages70$US for the shipping of the 2 packagesTotal 170$US x 1,23=210$ can (rounded numbers)210$CAN /20 sets=10,50$CAN per set

Sorry POLO but no way Scott can beat 10,50$CAN each set everything included!!! As long as we don't miss the Ebay one and that they go for a reasonnable price. What da ya think?

I wouldn'T ask Scott to match it, it is probably below his cost, especially with taxes and custom we have to pay with him.

Remember that even though the Ebay seems appealing, it might go for a lot more then his "reserve" price of 50$US.
