newbie just saying hi!

Post by frostyvibrations »

Hello to you all. I just got a 2004 base vibe automatic. I'm glad I found this site. I live in southern Vermont and the car could use a little more power for all the mountains around here. Any tips or good places to order parts would be great. thanx, Jamey

Welcome to GenVibe! As previously stated, our US-Northeast region has been pretty desolate of members here.. glad to see someone new from that area.

Welcome! The performance modification of choice seems to be a Cold Air Intake (CAI). I had one on my car (I'll get it back on there eventually) and I can say that it made quite a bit of difference. It can get a bit noisy when climbing steep hills where you have to keep into the throttle, though.I purchased mine through Ptuning.com and was very happy with the transaction.
