Pics from TRDvibe's (Hope) visit to Ontario over 4th of July

just thought i'd share my pics from a wonderful weekend spent with phil (mavrik) over 4th of July weekend in Ontario. had a great time and he's quite an accomodating host. LOLi got in late late friday night and on saturday we went shopping a little, drove out to the country to see his folks, then out to lake erie to hang out w/ his bro on his boat. on sunday, independence day, we went to niagara falls. lots of fun, went to the wax museum of the stars, ripley's, 4d adventure ride, marvel's spiderman ride, hulk maze (lame), and xmen bumper cars. rainforest cafe, video games at the wwe pile driver ride, hershey factory, more shopping, etc. then had a late eve dinner and watched the spectacular fireworks displays.monday we went to the paramount theme park in toronto. that was nice since there weren't too many people around. we had a great time! lots of rides and i even got some vid clips on the rollercoaster, even after getting yelled at by the attendant. LOLthen tuesday, we just relaxed a little and i had to pack up my stuff to leave for a wedding. but then they wouldn't let me on my plane since i wouldn't have enough time to get thru immigration/customs. so we got a hotel (ouch) and went to dinner, then watched a movie. 4:45 am weds morn, back at the airport! then... prob getting me on the plane and ticketing, but said just to get onto the plane in chicago and smile, pretend i'm there. if they over book, i'll have to get off since it was on a partner airline and they couldn't confirm my seat. no stress there! LOL. got to customs and immigration and the guy was a jerk. didnt have my passport or naturalization pwk since when i'd call they said it wasn't necessary. so i sat in immigration for an hour while they confirmed i wasn't a terrorist and did belong back in the US. so, was quite fun. i'll be bringing my passport in sept! LOL

cool...nice to see stuff i live within 45/hour of but rarely ever get a chance to visit!!!i hope you enjoyed your stay in 'glorious' southern ontario!(cool sunglasses....again!)
