Hello everyone! How's everyone been? I haven't been on here much for the past couple months, but looks like things have picked up since it started slowing last spring. I was wondering, is there anyone else who likes to take pictures of their Vibe? I always have to take new pictures after each visible modification and often after I wash it, it's just a habit. I am always trying to take cool shots at different angles, lighting conditions, backgrounds, etc. I have around 250 pics of my Vibe since May of 2002. Anyone else really into taking pics of their car? I don't know if I'm obsessed with it or what, but I like looking at my car lol.I just took some new shots a few nights ago at an empty mall parking lot. I also painted my calipers red a few weeks ago and took some pics back then. I'll post some pics and if you want check out my cardomain link in my sig for lots more.Later,

Nothing wrong with taking pictures of your car. There are alot of worse things to be obsessed with.I haven't taken many pictures of my car, but there are moments when I wished I did. There was one time I parked outside a movie theatre that had blue neon along the edge of the building. Reflected off of a Neptune GT looks awesome. I wished I had a camera them, but I'm not sure how that would have turned out.
Would you agree to debris acceptance? 2003 Vibe GTMods installed GM Top and Mid-Gate Spoilers, Cosmo CAI, TWM Short Shifter with Desert Eagle weighted shift knob, TWM Bronzoil Shifter Cable Bushings, Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust, Unichip, Injen Billet Aluminum Engine/Sparkplug covers and oil cap, Optima RedTop Battery, Lineage Ground Wire KitAwaiting install: Energy Suspension Motor Mounts, DC Sports Header
the middle pic is the best of the 3. i like how you followed the parking line along the bottom edge and zoomed in enough to just see the tall parking lights framing the shot. also use the 'law of thirds' nicely!
I have signatures turned off so I'm not even sure what mine says in this space!

Nice pics, I especially like the night shot done in that angle... Lookin' good! Not a thing wrong with taking tons of Vibe pics, even if loved ones and passers-by alike consider you a bit whacko. I have about 500 megs of Vibe pics on this box. Two days in a row now I've gone out to take pictures. Thought I had some good shots last night when I was at the forestry, unfortunately every stinkin' pic last night turned out blurry. Shame, I think my Vibe looks more at home in the woods than it does anywhere else... lolKeep snappin' those pics, folks!

Thanks for the compliments everyone .ColonelPanic: I had the same problem, a lot of the pics I took that night came out blurry with the slower shutter speed. I used my tripod, but it's not that great and the head has a little wobble in it, so I have to be careful.

use the timer when taking shots at night off a tripod. that way you press the shutter and you have 5-6 seconds to step away and let the camera stop wobbling....no blur!

Thanks for the great tip! I think I now remember hearing about that a while ago. I'll try that next time.

No, you're not truly obsessed until you take pictures of OTHER people's Vibes....And yes I have done this. In New York City, no less. I stopped in the middle of the sidewalk on Canal Street to take a picture of a Vibe in Chinatown.
HAHA yeah, I've never done that. I would like to get pics of my Vibe in DC or in other city or downtown locations.

well i got some pics of the vibe today. got it nice and clean, waxed the front end as much as i could. good thing you can't really tell the damage to the lower front end! i also added the "decalkits.com" stickers in case i order anything from them.
Well, I finally got a pic of my vibe last night to post on here. I have some old ones when I first got it but it was pretty plain. Unfortunately all I have is a webcam that will unhook for very poor digital pictures. This pic was taken in my front yard with the full moon coming up in the background. I do have a front-end cover for it, but took it off to give it a good wax and so the dealer can fix some trim discoloration.
