My daughter and I drove to Texas on the way home I locked my keys in the car in some itty-bitty town in Arkansas on a Sunday night. I called the Pontiac Roadside assistance and they couldn't find anyone willing to come out and try to open my car because it was so new. She said they would have to send a tow truck and tow my car to the dealer and have someone make me a key in the morning. Fine except all my cash was in the car. So I found a local Deputy, who happened to pull in the lot, he said to call the local Police Department. They sent an officer out and it took him 45 minutes to get in my car. He did it though. Woo hoo........Just an FYI.....not an easy car to get in to. So be careful if you ever decide to lock your keys in your car.
Vibe Gt--Neptune monotone, moons & tunes, power package, & alarm..........Grrrrrrr.........I just luv my car......
I take it your keys were not in the ignition? At least the vehicle has the feature that you cannot lock the driver side door with the key in the ignition with the vehicle off.
No, I had thrown them down on the back seat when I got my daughter out. I thought I threw them in my purse so I just locked the doors with the switch on the door. I've decided now that I can't do that. Much easier to use the key fob

That is unacceptable! You bought 3 years roadside assistance when you bought your VIBE. This isn't a free service, or GM doing you a favor. You bought and paid for it! Tell them they left you out in the middle of the desert to die! WOW!
