What is that thing?

I looked under my hood @ the horn because I'm gonna swap out the piece o junk...and farther down it, I saw a knobby looking thing with two wires coming from it? What is that?Just wondering.Mike

I was thinking that, but wasn't sure...On a related note, is there any way to change my temp reader to celsius? It's factory sent to farenheit, i guess because it's sold in the states, but i'm more comfortable with a celsius reading. I couldn't find anything in the manual...

Could be the air bag deployment sensor too. Don't hit it with a hammer.

Nah, definitely know it's not that. Those are usually integrated into the bumpers and ****. Never would be left out in the open like that.

Never would be left out in the open like that.Actually, you can see 2 of the airbag sensors and they are clearly not in the bumper.. at least the 2 I can see clearly are not. The one you can see is next to and down from the left side of the battery which is mounted on a main steel (?) beam. The other one is on the exact opposite side of the engine bay. The sensor says it is for the Aig Bag and not to touch.
