I just paid $4.00 a gallon (I round up. The US has never minted a tenth penny). However, a Murphy station next to me was $3.87 a gallon. I used the Buck-ees gas station by my folks just to start it off with a full tank. (The 07 Matrix on which I've been working)

It is $4.45 for the cheap stuff in northwestern PA.

Two days ago I was seeing prices over $4/gal Yesterday, Maryland enacted a no gas tax month. Today I saw $3.649/gal for 87

It's been running about $3.90 for regular unleaded. I paid $4.40 a gallon for 92 octane lead-free a couple of days ago.

Gas has come down lately. I paid 2.79 for regular cash price, 2.89 credit. Most stations around the western suburb of Houston are 2.89 - 3.09 for regular cash, and .10 - .20 higher for credit.

Very few gas stations around me have higher price for credit. although some offer discount for using their brand specific payment scheme or loyalty card. The general cash/credit price is running about $3.20/gal around me today,

$4.069 for premium (93 octane) for the last 2 weeks now, clearly someone is delivering on their many promises.

gas jumped about $0.65US/gal so far here since the beginning of Operation Epstein Shield

Here in NW Ohio, it went from 2.56 to 3.19 and finally yesterday 3.49. All within a week .............. Crazy

Paid a reasonable $3.699 at Costco for 93 octane yesterday.

Closer to home it's $3.399 today for 87.

Time to get back into my old hypermiling habits of 2008!

Want to see a crazy discrepancy in gas prices? Costco at 3.23 AND Circle K at 4.00 Same day, same town, same time! That's 77 cents difference. Oh, and they both contain up to 10% ethanol!

That was 18 months ago, shortly after the current administration.

Glad I didn't follow through on my plan to raise chickens to use the eggs to pay for gas, because today around here 87 regular gas is running 31 eggs per gallon

A temporary "suspension of all fuel taxes" went into effect on October 4 and will expire on January 2. This is for Ohio only (unless other states are doing it too) and it's already causing problems. Being a neighboring state, where Michigan is NOT suspending their fuel taxes, congestion is now very common as hundreds of Michigan drivers are fleeing south to save 50-75 cents per gallon. I filled up today at S & G for 3.24/gallon. Michigan stations are still hovering the $4.00 mark.

We've been on gas tax "holiday" here in Indiana for a while. That's great and all, but I have to wonder what happens when there's no money to repair our crumbling infrastructure once all this is over. (who am I kidding, there's no money for that now. ) I suspect most likely we'll end up with all our interstates tolled.

Anyway, paid $4.649 for 93 octane the the other day.
