Fuel line leak

2003 GT

One of the fuel lines forward of the LR wheel has a tiny chink missing from it. It seems to be line #3
https://www.wholesalegmpartsonline.com/ ... ct=3092072 but those appear to be
unavailable.

I looked at the Matrix list http://www.genvibe.com/images/misc/manu ... atalog.pdf but it seemed to say it's a 77209-02060, except that's not shown as a Matrix part.

We kludged a fix for now, but.....

I'm unfamiliar with these plastic fuel lines and the connectors used on them.
How do you remove/install them?
Are there universal replacements available?

For ~$25, might be worth taking a chance on one

I think you need something to slide in the connectors to get them to release, google up fuel line disconnect tool. I once made one out of the plastic tip from an unused tube of caulk, but wish I had bought a real tool instead

Did the line fix it? Mine just sprang a leak too.

To be honest, I've not replaced the line. The kludgy fix is still dry..

I think it will require dropping the tank.

We lowered the tank enough to swap the new line in,
As I've mention in another thread, it seems a rat or squirrel chewed at it.
