amuzik - 2007 - Black (Base) and Compatibility Question

Hi All!
Pictured here is my beloved 2007 Vibe with 191,000 miles. A few weeks ago I had a Silverado turn into me. I've opted to keep the car and use insurance money to have it repaired. It's been super solid and the versatility is a must as I routinely haul equipment along with family and pets. The pop open back glass panel has also been very handy when hauling long items from the hardware store!

I got a call this morning from the repair shop that they were having trouble finding some parts. They are open to the possibility of me providing those they can't acquire through their network. So I'm looking at self service auto parts businesses that are local to me.

Is it accurate that parts from earlier models are compatible? So pretty much 2008 and earlier? I'm thinking about the headlight assembly in particular. The shop will provide me a list soon with what they can't get.
