Help: Drivers A Pillar leaking water. Roof drain location?

Post by 1zzLover »

As the title states, my car is leaking water out of the top of the A pillar where it meets the headliner on the drivers side. The water is leaking in somewhere and sitting there, and when I accelerate it all comes flying out. Looking for help finding the drain hole that would fix that issue.

Thanks in advance

If you have a sunroof, there is a drain in each corner. One or more are likely plugged.

If no sunroof, check your windshield seal and for rust at the top of the windshield.

Here's a picture showing the location of a front passenger side moonroof drain hole

visible when the sunroof is open. the driver side one is in a similar location. there are also two drains in the rear, can't see them from the open sunroof though. That's for the 03-08s, you didn't say what year yours was

of course as zbyers said, if you don't have a sunroof, then it won't be a clogged sunroof drain ;)
