Hello vibe community I am brand new to the forum gig but I love reading the posts as they are most helpful at times but I am now seeking out some info that may be on here somewhere but just haven't found it yet, I had recently purchased an '03' vibe GT with the 1.8 l vvtl-i engine & the c60 6speed man. trans that I have to replace the clutch in but that's not my concern. I have been searching the web looking for a engine service manual for this thing because the car has a few miles on it & I'm going to just pull the engine & trans together to do service & repairs needed and I would like to check all of the engine components for spec & recondition or rebuild if necessary, So I guess my point question is does anyone out there know where I can find a service manual for this engine and possibly suggestions on the best place to get rebuild parts from??? thanks in advance....

The GM factory service manuals are available from a company named Helm, they're pricey, but you might find a set on ebay sometimes. There is a PDF version of the Toyota Matrix factory service manual on line somewhere unofficial, and since's the Vibe is almost completely a clone of the Matrix, the engine service parts of that all apply to your Vibe.
For parts, there's a variety of online GM and Toyota parts places, and sites like rockauto. If you are interested in performance upgrades and such, places like monkey wrench racing might be useful.
