HELP! AUTO HEADLIGHTS WHEN DISABLED

Post by TreFatKids »

I disabled the auto/DRLs headlights a while back and no issues. I went to go disable the reverse beeping you get with a manual. I connected a led to the wire and they touched and shorted out the gauge fuse. I replaced the fuse and my headlights turn on automatically when the key is turned all the way until it stops before you go further to start the car. Any ideas? Maybe I fried a relay? Another fuse? Or even the DRL module? This is on a 2003 GT

I remember there were a couple of ways to disable the auto headlights, which way did you do it?

When the headlights come on when you turn the key to the run position, do they come on at full low beam, of the half bright DRL mode?

I found it out, the ground wire from the DRL module came undone
