Can someone please direct me in the right direction for an aftermarket "cat"I am looking for a cat for a 2003 pontiac vibe GT. I am going to cut out the old cat only as the exhaust is only 2 years old. I fried the cat when I lost two Ingnition coil packs and dump some raw gas in the cat and had a few good bombs go off.thanks

I am sure I am right but there is a difference between the base 1zz and 2zz exhaust systems, I do not believe there is a pre cat on the 2zz (GT) model, I am have a tough time finding a aftermarket universal cat for my 2003 GT. Correct me if i am wrong but i get a 2.5" pipe from the manifold to the cat and 2" after the cat.Please help if you have any infothanks

I guess I will answer my own question here, Had Cat changed to a OEM spec sprial spun Cat Magna Flow Part#54956 There are many other options but a cheap welded unit that costs under 100$ will not last very long. this one cost 125, not sure if this will help anyone.

I've got a 2003 Vibe GT that I'm looking to replace the cat on as well. Did this get rid of your CEL?
