I beleive the initial prototypes were around 2" then we opted for a bit less like a 1.5" and 1.75" and gradually adjusting the spring rate to insure better overall ride comfort... Those wheels are 18" ADVANS.... The cool thing is that the XRS models come with a factory body kit from Toyota... (Not sure how the VIbe GT compares though..) Making the overall drop of the vehicle seem even lower... Our initial prototypes made that car look slammed to the ground...! So this makes it look a bit nicer and not as low... It's more driveable as well..

We designed our coils to work with the stock set-up... That's why we don't go as low as other aftermarket companies... Plus with our agressive spring rates this also helps... But I would definately recomend some type of set up that has a shorter strut / shock package to avoid any douts of bottoming out...!!! We are looking into the possibillities of producing a sport strut / shock package..!

Hotchkis is extremely good about ride quality. I had a 2001 Dodge Dakota R/T last and had a full Hotchkis suspension up under it and it rode like a dream, not to mention the awesome handling!
Thanx DVDvibe..... Our Dakota kit has been a real sucess thanx to customers like yourself that are looking for more than just mere looks...! Making a suspension "HANDLE" is our forte'...... As our slogan goes "Horsepower for your Suspension".... And we expect the same thing from our Vibe / Matrix kit.... I have some customers that have got some of our first out of production and I'm already getting phone callls saying how "AWESOME" this kit is.....

J.C., you guys already have a kit out for the Vibe? If so that would be sweet, I need to head on over to the site and check it out! I am sort of low on funds at the moment but I think I could squeeze out a little for some suspension for the Vibe. The 2002+ Kit for the Matrix, that the one that I am wanting? Also, when will the complete kit be ready if you know? Thanks

Last time that I heard it shouldn't be much longer for the complete system to be complete. I have had great experiences with Hotchkis and plan to get the complete kit when it becomes available.
