Hey guys,Both my keyless remotes stopped working at the same time this morning. They were working fine one minute and then dead the next.I doubt that this is a battery issue since both remotes were working fine earlier today and I have not experienced a loss of effectiveness or diminushed range as would possibly be the case with a near-dead battery. The little red light on each remote is still working. The only thing I can see that might have an effect is that the minute before, I checked the car's mileage so I put the key in the ignition and set the starter to "electric" just to light up the gauges and then turned everything off. After that, I couldn't lock the car with either remotes. I know that in some cars, having a key in the ignition will disable the remotes so I took the car for a quick ride thinking maybe the ignition-sensor-thing might have still thought a key was in but it didn't work.I found a few stories of 1 remote that stopped working and needed reprogramming but never both remotes at once.*EDIT*Well, nevermind that. The car has been sitting in the driveway for 5 hours and both remotes now work normally. I guess it's one of those "best not to try to understand" moment.

If the key is on, the remotes don't work, meaning key on engine off or running. Maybe key was left on???? the remotes are disabled until key is shut to off, just a thought---Frank
