I just purchased four Uniroyal Long Touring tires from Wall-mart for $95.00 each. I thought that was a pretty decent price for a set of 80,000 mile tires. They ride nice and do well in the rain. I was driving through some pretty heavy rain on the highway and didn't feel a hint of hydroplaning. I don't know how well they do in panic stops, because I don't have ABS, so I try not to go there. If anybody is interested in high mileage tires, you might want to check these out.

I just ordered some Uniroyal's from our small town tire shop, getting them today. They we're 99.00 each, and 70,000 miles. I'll find out today what exact kind of Uniroyal it is.

I kinda want to go old school and find some white raised letter tires. I don't think our cars have enough of a sidewall though so you can't get them.Just tiny white letters is all I ask.
