Did you know 2003 Vibe had a soundtrack?

Quote, originally posted by MetroNews »Todd Wright and Cal Everett at Jammin' JavaPosted by Randy Shulman on February 3, 2011 9:15 AMD.C.-based Todd Wright has been the touring guitarist for such national acts as the Pat McGee Band, Better Than Ezra and Lucy Woodward, and his band GetawayCar's song "Superstar" was the soundtrack for the 2003 Pontiac Vibe. Cal Everett, a D.C.-based rock artist, has spent the last few years touring the country in Still Surfin', a Beach Boys cover band. Ah, good vibrations. Thursday, Feb. 3, at 8 p.m. Jammin' Java, 227 Maple Ave. E. Vienna. Tickets are $12. I do recall an ad from 2002-03 for Pontiac Vibe where people were "kickin' the beat" in a barbershop when seeing a Vibe on the street... can't remember the song though and don't know if it's related...

A little search engine-ing brought more info about the band Getaway Car with Todd Wright (There are actually two bands with that name) --> http://www.myspace.com/getawaycarQuote, originally posted by Getaway Car's MySpace Page »Getaway Car Bio:At first listen Getaway Car’s 'All Your Little Pieces' is radio-ready rock that sticks in the middle of your brain for days. Dig a little deeper and you’ll find the ire of Elvis Costello and the sugar-sweet retro melody of Cheap Trick, Squeeze, and the Fab Four worn proudly on their collective sleeve. The future hit 'thanks-for-screwing-up my-holiday' anthem, 'All Time Low,' began turning heads at radio and record labels in 2004 and anchored itself as the springboard for this classic and complete rock record. Other standouts include the Pretenders-esque 'Kingdom Crumbled' the tender-yet-twisted 'Long Night,' the fist-pumping 'sing-a-long' 'Insomnia' and the tortured waltz 'How Will I Sleep.'Co-produced and mixed by Jeff Juliano (John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Lifehouse) 'All Your Little Pieces' is a dynamic album fueled by heartbreak, possession, obsession, and an overall lack of sleep…it's the perfect post-breakup companion. Also recorded in 2004, Getaway Car’s one hundred eighty degree 'NYC EP' conjures up images of the Strokes, Jet, and Death Cab for Cutie. This lo-fi stripped down version of Getaway Car was produced by mad scientist Jamie Lamm- written and recorded over just two days in his New York City recording facility.Superstar (from the 'NYC EP') was used nationally in a Pontiac Vibe commercial in early 2004 and 'Daylight' (also from the EP) won the band the opening slot at WHFS’ prestigious HFStival at RFK Stadium in Washington, DC.The band also loves its side work. Members of Getaway Car have been hired as touring musicians with such major label acts as Pat McGee Band, Lucy Woodward, the New York Dolls, and Tonic. But the real goal for Getaway Car's 'All Your Little Pieces' and the 'NYC EP' is to belong in any true pop-rock fan’s iPod. Singer Todd Wright, bassist Chris Reardon, and guitarist Matt Miceli have crafted an EP and an LP that seem destined to carve (at the very least) their own ‘little piece’ in rock history.
