Welcome to GenVibe! There's also Rain-X windshield washer fluid for the reservoir. I don't know if it's sold in your area. You probably don't have to worry much about frost or snow, but one of the benefits of Rain-X 'up north' is easier scraping of the windows in the winter.Their washer fluid seems to renew the Rain-X a bit every time you use it, so you don't have to reapply Rain-X to the windshield and liftgate more than once a season.

The AWD is always dirty due to residing in the country and driving dirt roads.

I use the Rain - X washer fluid as well & im in South Florida. So much easier! Too hot here in the summertime to apply with a paper towel, last time i tried I almost burned my hand on the windsheild! It evaporates just as fast as your applying it due to the hot windshield. As someone already mentioned it reactivates the rain-x as well. I never went back to traditional fluid. For me, it quieted down my old wiper blades lol.Glad this sit was helpfull to you.....it has saved me time, money & educated me on this particular car.

Careful on the rain-x!.. You have to reapply before it wears completely off.. because.. if you don't.. you won't be able to see crap.. it just smears junk, and creates a HORRIBLE film.. But this is just based on my experience.

Rain-x works great if you live in a place that regularly gets rain... not so much here, bugs, dirt, months without rain, subzero temperatures, ice scraping, ect gives the windshield that oh so lovable smear! But glad that we're here to help!!!

It made the wipers completely ineffective, so I got it off of there ASAP and never used it again.I know many that swear by it, so perhaps its just me, but I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that has had trouble using this stuff. I know it must be reapplied regularly to continue to be effective but I was having trouble w/it from day one.Now the Latitude wipers are another story. I am trying them on my Mazda right now and they work fine. They replace a set Trico NeoForms that I got well over 2 yrs from and that's saying a lot here in sun country. Exhaust systems can last forever here, but not so wiper blades.I would say the Latitudes don't work any better than the NeoForms, but no worse either.

I have never used Rain-X and never will. I use Mother's California Gold Car Wash Soap with caranuba wax in it to wash the Vibe and it has the same effect on the windows as Rain-X without the smears, needed re-applications, etc. The water beads up on the windows (even the windshield) like nobody's business. It makes driving in the rain a breeze.

We use Rain-X on both of our cars and the cars before that and love it. Just have to make sure to follow the directions and let it fog up long enough, remove ALL of it (we use the Rain-X window cleaner to remove it) and then do a second coat.
