I have 2009 Pontiac Vibe, 27.000 km. It suddenly loses the speed. I was going at 100 km/hour and within the seconds the speed dropped to 20 km/h. The engine completely lost the power. The accelerator wasn’t reacting. The car kept going at speed 20km/h . VSC OFF was flashing; the Traction Control System and StabiliTrack warning lights came on. I turned the engine off and started again and it was going normal yet those lights were still on. I tried to press that off button and nothing happened. After a few kilometers it started again. This happened several times. It was in a dealer, they replaced BODY 033350 and GASKET. After some kilometers it started doing the same thing. It is in a dealer now for 4 working days, they said they are still trying to find out what the problem is. Anyone experienced this problem? It was pretty scary on the expressway and I am afraid I will be scared to drive this car. Thanks .
It sounds like a PCM. I haven't really read up on the PCM problems for Vibe's here, but I know that my parents had a vehicle once (can't remember what it was) that done exactly what you said and it was the PCM. Hopefully you will here some others chime in with more Vibe-specific info.
