could one of you kind folks here at genvibe post up a pic of where the idle position sensor is located ona 2004 supercharged Pontiac vibe gt? please please please...lol

2004 was the only year that they offered the gt package with the gm supercharger, two spoilers, and ground effects...that is what i have and i do not know if it is in the same place or not on base models and supercharged? consider me a noob when it comes to pontiacs lol i just need to know where the tps is located so i can put in a new one because it is idling weird and rpm's are going wonky occasionally and a new TPS will remedy this i believe...

also, do you know what the part number is? because i guess they are two different part numbers...one is for the supercharged model which i have and the other is for non-supercharged...thanks for the pdf by the way! you rawk!!!

I'm telling you that the 1zz supercharger won't fit on to the 2zz engine.1zz='s base vibe2zz='s GTSo who ever is telling you that you can put that supercharger on the car is blowing smoke up your you know what. The only supercharge that fits the 2zz is the greddy.Also if it's idling badly clean the MAF sensor located in the air intake. small black thing with wires coming out of it. disconnect the neg battery cable. disconnect the sensor, spray it with MAF cleaner, wait till it's dry, put it back making sure it seals. then reconnect the battery cable.Got a photo of your engine bay? if so post it so I can tell you if you have a base or gt

thanks for the help i do appreciate it...but you dont have to go into detail of what the parts are that you mention i have lots of experience modding just not on a vibe and this vibe has the GM supercharger already in it not the trd...if you want i can post up a pic of it if you dont believe me hahaand you think its the mass airflow sensor and not the ips? because all of the hiccups it is randomly having point to the ips...but the maf senson cleaner in a can is the cheaper bet also, do you think that the battery having a dead cell would cause idle problems and rpm blips?

then you don't have the GT you have a base with the supercharger added. Saying you have the GT will only confuse people to no end.

no, the GT has the 2zz engine. The body kit don't mean squat

lift... think vtec.the 2zz aka GT or in the matrix XRS when the revs hit 6300-6500 depending on year it hits a new lob on the cam and you get a surge of power to red line. It also has more HPthe 1zz aka base don't have this.
