Return of the VIBE

Post by Bocaj77 »

I get my car back 2morrow 7-21-03 after being in the shop for 3 weeks from the oil pump going up. I have been driving around in a rental Mercury Sable. The Vibe will be a sight for soar eyes.

Yuck. Mercury. Another ugly quality-lacking ford product.

I do have the 3.0L Sable but this poor cars has been treated terribly. But it dose run pretty good and the A/C works great, but its an old persons car. And the reason it took 3 weeks they did have to wait for parts Crank, bearings, oil pump and others.

It's good the hear that you will be getting your Vibe back finally. And I do sympathize with you for having to drive a Ford product.

quote:The 24 Valve 3.0 V6 has about 200 horsies and is great on gas. About 460 miles to a tank of gas and that is about a 16 gallon tank. The interior is very roomy and the seats are very comphy.. One of the better Ford Cars Made... You apparently have not driven one riden in one. It would change your outlook on it..I drove in a 00 Sable...it was the most unpleasant ride I ever took -- next to the Focus...another horrifying product...as my friend put it, an "alien car." Only thing I can't contest is the A/C -- never tested it...

The Sable may have a good ride but when it's always in the shop then how can you enjoy it My friend has one as a company car and it has been in the shop 9 times over the life of the car and it only has 25000 miles on it.
