Is there anyway to upgrade the factory sub in the back of the Vibe while still looking stock? I don't need anything crazy, just something a little better.... any ideas? Same for the other speakers... and would I have to get a new amp?

User papacueball did a real nice job in his 09; he utilized the factory sub enclosure. You would have to replace the amp as the factory amps aren't very powerful. If you pick up a sub that is more efficient then you could get away with using a less powerful amp.If you are replacing the other speakers at the same time I would suggest doing a set of components in the front and either leaving or completely unplugging the rears. When replacing the front and rear speakers you can get by without upgrading the factory amp, but without upgrading the factory amp you wont get the full potential of the aftermarket speakers. A popular combination is to replace the sub, front speakers, and get a 4 channel amp to power all with. Aron
