I just bought and installed this headunit. So far so good… Seems to be really nice. I've only ever had Alpine units in previous cars, but this Sony seems so stack up quite nicely. It had all the features I wanted, and was significantly cheaper than a closely equipped Alpine. A big point when all my money is going to a wedding fund right now, haha. I went with it over some other similar units because it has rear USB and AUX that you can run down to the little cubby under the shifter, and store your iPod or whatever down there. I wanted rear output because I don't want cables hanging down on my gearshift while I'm driving. Plus it adds more security because nobody will know that the iPod is in there. You could just unplug a front-set USB cord, and then tuck it in there, but I'm pretty lazy about things like that, lol. There's only one problem I have with it is that the stick-thingy for changing songs/volume/stuff is all one button, and can be easily pressed the wrong way while driving. I wish that there were two of them, one for volume, and one for controlling the tracks playing. One bonus of this unit is that the buttons can be set to red lighting which looks nice with all the red lighting in the car. The screen stays blue though, but it doesn't look bad at all.I can take some pictures when I get home from work if you'd like.

I couldn't get home before it got dark out, so I took a picture with my cellphone. Sorry for the crappy quality, I can take a better picture tomorrow.

Only in the rears, and that's just because I haven't had the time to swap 'em out yet.I've got Pioneer 2 way speakers in the doors, and I just installed crossovers and tweeters on the sail part. I didn't have the moons and tunes pack, so I just spliced into the wiring for the door speakers for the tweets.

Im looking at getting that same head unit by the end of this month. Im pretty excited, especially with the positive feedback and how good it looks in that picture. Were the aftermarket speakers more necessary or just an audiophile decision?
