Replacement fogs
Hi,I finally have a question about my new (to me) Vibe that the 'search' function hasn't solved...Both of my front fog lamps are cracked. Are eBay "oem style" replacements decent? I've heard/seen horror stories regarding poor quality housings heating up & catching fire, from the VW community.Also, are Matrix and Vibe ('03) fogs the same? Well they say it fits all 1st generation Vibes and Matrix. If you feel they may melt, just install a lower wattage bulb.How about some pics of your ride! Welcome to Genvibe BTW!!!

Thanks for the input - I've decided just to go ahead with them.These are from the day I bought it - not so clean any more... only 103k kms though, and sold by the original owner!

they are great ! I have a set that just arrived int he mail. Only downside is we live in Alberta & shipping 3 weeks which was poo..they sat at the ebay store for a week before shipping them the stamp on the package said Dec 14 & the paypal went thru on Dec7th. But I have them now they are in good shape well packaged like said just put a low wattage bulbs in it.. both of mine came with (unexpected) phillips 12v 51w 9006 bulbs so that was sweet deals. welcome to Genvibe nice to see a local on here
