Hey all, today has been a great day. I got a hell of a deal on 2009 Pontiac Vibe GT. 11800 out the door. Now what? Im into the mod scene so what can be done with the car?

How many miles on it, if any, what options? Do they have more? and where? As far as Mods are concerned, any 2.4L Toyota mods are applicable. They're aren't a whole lot of aftermarket items for the 2009-10 Vibes that I've seen
Well it had 30k miles, I got the duration of the factory warranty. Im not sure what the non standard options are for the car but id did come with leather interior, XM ready radio. 12v adaptor, 5speed auto tranny. I hope it was a good deal. Cuz it felt like a good deal when I bought it.

You GOT a GREAT DEAL. They are going through wholesale dealer auctions for $13000 and here in Michigan, there is a dealer that has a red one on his lot with 30K miles, and it is beat to ****. It looks like the previous owner parked by braille as almost every wheel has curb rash. And its currently on Sale for $14,490 down from $15,999http://www.foxnissanusa.com/Pr...38768
Your Avatar pic looks just like my car. Jet black. My only complaint with the car thus far is the rims. They are quite ugly. I just looked at Crutchfield. I think im gonna buy a Clarion indash dvd/navi receiver as my first mod. I also need the luggage cloth thing and floor mats. Anywho ill post some pics. If you can think of some easy mods that either add performance or enhance the looks let me know. One other question, is there a light in the hatch area?

WOW.................that much...for a GT? You got a deal of a lifetime! And by the way, since this is the garage, you should post pics ASAP before the mob comes....
Actually, I do not have any pics yet. I purchased at dusk last night so not so good for iphone pics. But I will today and post this afternoon. Oh and its not Black its a really dark grey almost metallic. Im not sure what color to call it.

There is a light in the Hatch area with a switch for on/off/doors. It is top center of the tailgate opening. I would check with Weathertech.com for floor mats and cargo mats. Also check out on this forum J To Envy. He has done a lot of Mods to his 2009 Vibe including turning off the Daytime Running Lights, Cold Air Induction, etc below is a link of his Vibehttp://www.cardomain.com/ride/3315658/2Headlight Retrofit:http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=37495Magnaflow CAT Back Performance Exhausthttp://www.magnaflow.com/02pro...=7120

Now that Ive had a chance to understand what I have for a car. Im not sure what model I have. Are there tell tale signs for what is a GT or just an upgraded base model?

Actually, even though its not a Full GT (18" Wheels, Spoiler, Fogs, and body kit) its kind of better if you want to do exterior mods as you have a blank canvas and you have more options to add stuff then those who have the full GT Kit. Plus you got the bigger motor so more mod fun under the hood. Its the best of both worlds. I like the interior.
Sorry, that should've been 1SB...The diffrences that I can see from your pics between Your Vibe and a GT:No Fog lights, smaller rear spoiler, 16" rims, AWD wheel covers. As for a CAI, K&N makes a nice one!
