Reading Lamp

How do you change the bulb in the reading lamp that is next to the sunroof slide button? Cant get the cover off. Help. 2005 AWD VIBE.......thanks

you have to take out the one screw, then just pull the entire cover off. Don't try to just pull the clear plastic part, the whole cover is one thing.

welcome to genvibeSome of us have had problems with that light, where the switch gets touchy. I don't use mine much, and pne time I went to use it it didn't work right away, but hitting the switch multiple times got the light to light up, but it would stay on only as long as the switch was pushed, then continual hitting the thing got it to the point where the light would stay on/turn off like it is supposed to. Perhaps something like corrosion in the switch contacts, multiple uses cleaned it enough to get it to work. But then I didn't use it again for a long time and had to do that all over the next time.
