I had one like that (only silver) rear end me once. Slick little ride you have there, looks like it's in fantastic shape.

Very nice!!! I hope it's going to be a real weekend car and you're going to put some decent miles on it....Beautiful cars should be driven, not gawked at in a garage collecting dust!

Oh yeah, I'm gonna drive it. It's fixed up to look nice enough, but it is intended to be a driver, not a museum piece.

HI,I worked for FIAT in the 80's. The 124 Spyder was a FUN car.IF you do nothing else, change the timing belt, if you don't know how old you belt is, replace it now and again in less than 50,000 miles. If it breaks, you do NOT want to foot the repair bill! They tend to overheat if I recall properly. It's good you got the stickThat wood on the interior can go wonky quickly so keep it dry. (dumb suggestion with a vert but....)And finally RUST : FIAT = RUST clean well, clean frequentlyDave

When I was in the Navy a friend of mine had one. He let me barrow it for dates. Fun car. Always had ignition problems and he was no mechanic. He sold the car for almost nothing. You'll have allot of fun with it.

Thanks all. Timing belt is brand new, along with all new brakes, master cylinder, drivetrain flex disc and ujoint, tires and various seals, gaskets and bushings. It is a California car, no rust.
