empty spots in under dash fuse panel

Post by satur9 »

does anybody know if these can be used.are they always hot or ignition powered. i was thinking about adding fuse taps in them . it looks like it has terminals on boths sides of the empty fuse spot. so i dont know if the wire is dead ended somewhere .i could always use a blown fuse tap. so just the hot side where the aux tap is remains hot. but i just wanted to get other opinions see if anyone else has done this. before i screw my back up messing around down there. also does anybody know which wire ( hopefully near the shifter)( 5 speed btw) turns on the reverse lights.
look my sniggies, i had a strizz-oke in my brizz-ain okay, you know what im saying. so i cant move all good. but thanks for mentioning that .thank you very much.athf4evr. click here! you know you want to!!!

That diagram above says the wires come in via juntion "J3" which from page 6 of this PDF looks like it is behind the glove box somewhere

I have a hunch, and it is not to hook up a reverse beeper so you can pretend to be a GT

ding ding ding, we have a winner. theres a white harness with a black/red wire behind the glovebox. thats the reverse wire.(found in another post.) its all wired up but the cams not mounted so i'll get pictures in the daylight tommorow.

Have you ever found out what the empty spots in the under dash fuse panel were hot, engine running, or bogus?

some of the open spots are constant hot, some are igg. on.Use a tester light like I did to figure out which ones are which. All are usable though.
