hollywood's lack of new ideas continues .. remake of Deathrace 2000

geez, just when you think the dearth of ideas from hollywood couldn't get worse now a remake of Deathrace 2000, called ..... wait for it ....Death Race. How very original yes, I watched Deathrace 2000 when it hit the theaters a hundred years ago, but it was funny cuz it was sooo awful. come on, they've remade old TV shows, remade other movies, why nothing original ? these remakes, for the most part were a boxoffice flop

I heard they were filming this. I was hoping it would die before it hit the production stage. Because... the first one was so good. At least this one's an older movie. Not like the 3 year after remake of the Hulk.

i think this one might do a little better than the original one. think of it this way, its Twisted metal meets NASCAR.
