Picked her up yesterday, she is filfthy with pollen but looks fantastic. The body shop gave me a new floor pan under the hatch, new bumper, bumper protector, they fixed the dent in the hatch and repainted. The best news is this though.I knew I was getting a new muffler, the car has 70,000 miles on it. Well they also replaced the whole exhaust, so I got everything new just about. New cat, new piping, new muffler. I was psyched cause I know at around 100k or so those things typically need to get checked or replaced. So I lucked out as it was $800 of the repair cost. Shiny new muffler with the chrome tip and the car is SO much quieter now at idle and driving around. Life is good so far. I wonder if it will help my mileage out at all though?
i bet your mileage may get back to what it was when it was newer, cuz when cat's get old the mileage goes down. On another note I got my car back too!!!!!!!! congrats whelan didnt you miss your car!!???
Missed her sooooo much. It was weird sitting in it again cause after sitting on the floor of the G6 in the big bucket seats it took a minute to get used to being higher upright. Congrats on getting your car back as well!I will see what happens to the mileage this time around.
