its probably the water hitting the hot engine, boils and then evaporates

Same thing happens when I rinse off the engine when it hasn't fully cooled. Not a problem as long as it doesn't happen all the time (as in, when the engine is definitely dry). If it happens constantly (even when you haven't washed it), could be a sign of another problem...
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
