Post by Kevzaz »

Should work. I always find consumer audio specs a bit confusing - they really like to bump up the numbers to make it look good. 580 Watt amp? Looks like it is really a 100W amp. They alsp don't mention the % distortion at the max output power. This is quite important. If you get 3% distortion at 100 W rms not only will it sounds terrible but you also may blow your speakers. LOL.I wonder how many consumers understand amplifier classes.Don't know about the second question - someone else here may be able to help with that.

It would be "ok" but I would stear clear of Dual... If I were you (and I know that I am not) I would consider this as a much better way to go (for starters) http://cgi.ebay.com/KENWOOD-KS...wItemThis is an "all-in-one" unit, made by a great company with a long history for being "good" Being that it's all in one, it's will be much more compact, easier to install, it would most likely sound a heck of a lot better (to a self proclaimed audiophile like yourself) and over all be a better choise... but the choise IS up to you... Will it work(the dual stuff)... YES, will it work good, who knows, will it sound good, who knows... I know I wouldn't install Dual, in my girlfriends car, I can tell you that...
