2ZZ supercharger might happen

Hi everyone. Yesterday I was rereading the issue of Sport Compact Car that had the turbo Matrix project car. I started thinking about all the talk of FI on the 2ZZ and decided to do some more research. I emailed Alpine Development about the S/C they were working on last November. Last I heard they had stopped development on it because they had a customer interested in buying their S/C kit and reselling it as a "private label". Sounds nice, but they don't even have the freaking 1ZZ application out yet, which has a MUCH more boost friendly compression ratio. Unless, they run 3-4lbs. of boost, they're going to pop the 2ZZ motor with it's 11.5:1 compression ratio. I can assure you I won't be supercharging my 2ZZ...

youd still have your warrenty best believe they'll make it reliable enough to not cause them problems.

You are on the right track, just with the wrong company. Blitz-na already has a supercharger for the 2ZZ engine. Available for the celica gts and matrix xrs.Check out blitz-na.com
