I just saw a HUGE @$$ spider crawl across my carpet and under a pile of clothes i had. i then lept to the clothes lifted them up and the little b-a-s-t-a-r-d flew under the bed so i tipped the bed up agaist the wall and smashed him with a shoe. Now my room is a mess and im a bit wet from tinkling from the initial shock of a SPIDER!!!!

I have a fear of spiders as well, not complete aracnophobie, but they are nasty. I even hate killing them cause I have to get close to them to do it.It goes right along with my fear of hospitals and clowns.

I took the photo I posted in a Central American rain forest. Including the legs, it was slightly larger than those old Eisenhower dollar coins (perhaps slightly larger).
Centipedes! Nastiest creature around here! Do they serve any purpose other than freakin' me out?A long time ago when I was at Camp Pendelton for SOI (school of infantry), we were 'camping out' with shelter halves (very small tent). I heard a scratching right above my head. When I turned on my flashlight there was a HUGE bug looking right in my face (some guys said it was a potato or tomato bug?). About the size of a mans thumb. I instinctively wacked it with my flashlight and it landed on my buddies face. It was funny afterwords, but we were both freakin' out at the time.
