I grew up in Germany (I am a dual national)...my father bought his original hard-cover book on Beer. I remember as a kid (probably around 1975-6) leafing through the book and the stats in the book show that back then Schlitz was the #1 beer and had the largest brewery in the world. Anheuser Bush back then was a much, much smaller brewery.It's a sad day for Beer lovers!
