I'm a car noob. I've been reading about how a rear sway bar and front strut (?) bar or something can help out your handling on the cheap (relatively) I'm also interested in springs for both handling reasons and aesthetics - I want the car lowered a little bit. Any other relatively minor addons/upgrades I'd consider as well.I currently have the 06 AWD and the addons are 17" Alloy wheels (factory) as far as this area is concerned. Maybe tire pressure advice would be the best in this category - I'm not prepared to buy new wheels / tires yet. Please give me some suggestions on what will fit the AWD and a few options for each part (low, middle, high $)Thanks!
The only low cost suspension upgrade you can really do for an AWD Vibe is the Hotchkis Lowering Springs(Approx $175). Hotchkis is the one you will want to use. They have the highest rear spring rate available for our independent rear suspension. All other springs will leave your rear end lower than your front. Not good! It will drop it approx 2" all around.

I have the hotchkis springs on my non-awd and love the ride height. It hasnt been a issue yet and the rear end is still high enough to take on a lot of weight. I got mine new off ebay for half the price of brand new
Quote, originally posted by Never Enough »The AWD can also use the same coilovers that the FWD's use too can't they?If you want to spend $750+ they can.
