The snout is much improved. The interior looks a lot better.Lose the craptezas on the back though, those look like dump to me.

I noticed this issue aswell and it runs the same exact 1/4 mile time as the new evo not a big subie fan! and it is a really great car and ecs a hatch i tip my hat to sub. for building one, But im really liking the mazda speed3 better in looks and its wayyyyy cheaper by 12K or so but really flip a coin but it is hard to argue with 12.5 sec time slips

oh, as for exterior goes? the speed3 is like (removed) on wheels! i agree. however, up here, or even for traction, i cannot beat 320 bhp/320 ft-lbs AWD. and 12.5 sec? of course most average drivers will not hit that, but if that's what the pros can do, bet i can easily run a high 12 sec 1/4 ET. and that'll be in both my LGT and hopefully the new upcoming 08 STI hatch. I want the hatch!

the grill is a little weird for me, but I like the car overall. Some how after owning a vibe, i like station wagons....now I know why my dad had like 3 of them hahah. so much versitility.

i think subaru is on the right track with their new designs...HOWEVER...i think they made a bad move when they shifted their logo to the top of the grille...because with the wings off the logo now, it SCREAMS chrysler!!other than that, looks good. new tribeca is vastly improved too.

The interior is a step up imo but the exterior looks like they threw a saturn front end with a subaru badge on a peugeot. heh.

I will still take it.plus, Mav informed me today that if I'm going to get one of these, I can't do anymore power mods to my car.

he says it's fast enough (not really... it could be soooo much faster) oh well, he's right. brake and rim upgrade and maybe just some less lower springs so i'm not on the ground.

(removed). ya, when i did the turbo upgrade, i think it was half dead. which is why i had to send off the valve bodies from the tranny to be reinforced. car runs great now.

update: had the pleasure and opportunity to check out the new (and only one in AK) WRX hatch. also got to hitch a ride in it's inaugural inspection drrive. 3 miles on the car. pics uploaded. there was an 08 Impreza Outback outside in the back as well so got a few pics of it parked next to the new WRX for comparison.http://smg.photobucket.com/alb...onti/

I took some pics yesterday including the sedan version we have. Of course the sedan one we got is the cheap $18,000 one which... to say the least really showed where subaru cheaped out. Looks horrible inside with its colour scheme. Certainly needs something different. WRX I really like.

i just saw the commercial for the '08 impreza, it's pretty good..4 german guys in it..on a test track..singing something..then pulls into a shop and another guy stands and looks at them..says something in german then walks away..they all bow their heads..and it says something about a japanese car the germans wish they made or something like that...anyone else seen this commerical?you can go to http://www.imprezaenvy.com and have a look at it all and build one

yes, they are singing "rock me amadeus" an old 80's song. it played before "bourne Ultimatum" at the theater when we saw it last week. pretty funny. their new B9 Tribeca commercial is pretty good too. about time they do some decent marketing.
