Last Thursday (4-3-03) night we had a bad ice storm now the weather man is calling for 1-3 inches for us (Saginaw Bay area) and 4-7 inches to the south (Flint and Detroit). LOL, when is it going to stop.

Ugh! It's April 7th and we here in Southern WI are getting pelted with snow.Well, mb not pelted, but we are getting 1-4 inches between today and tomorrow. There is one problem with this, it's been so warm lately, that the ground warmed up. Then we had about a week or so of really cold temperatures, so the ground surface chilled down. What does this mean? When the snow hits the ground, it melts and becomes slushy at first, but then it cools down as the ground cools down and with more snow and we get a layer of mb 1-2cm of "snice" which doesn't give any traction at all - especially with THESE #*&$(* Conti tires (I had turn turn around on a hill because I could not get up it ... and I am used to a 4wd Jeep Cherokee, teh cry! ;_; )Oh well, at least it'll be done soon
Rasermon, Yes it was a beautiful day here wasn't it. One of our welders at work broke down and we ran out of parts shortly after noon, so they sent us home at 2pm.
