When I cleened up my Vibe, I saw some dirty spot on the driver seat.It is chewing gum!!!Anyone know how to remove this??? I scratch it but it still have some stock in the fiber.
"Use Windex!!!"- The father from My Big Fat Greek Wedding.I would look for some Goo Gone. Check. Try it on an area that is visible first to see if it discolors yoour fabric.
My wifes grandma accidentally put chewing gum on my wifes seat belt one time. Of course it was her brand new car as well. Hadn't even had it a week! Anyways, I used and ice cube on the gum it self, got it really cold so the gum would harden up. Then I used a toothbrush to get it out of the fabric. Worked great! I was able to get all of it out. This should work on the seat as well. I would give that a try before using any kind of solutions like Goo Gone because of the risk of fading the fabric. Good luck. If you try my suggestion, let me know if it worked or didn't work for you.

there is a product you can get at any hardware store called m-1 remover. It is by far the best cleaner i have ever used. It also is good on road tar and other household uses.
I've heard of the ice cube trick too, but fortunately have never had to use it in my car. I have heard of success stories with it as well. Might need the Goo Gone to get the last of it out, though. That stuff works pretty good and I've never had it ruin any fabrics yet.
