Assuming the rest of the exhaust is left stock how much extra hp will a catback yield vs an axleback?

not sure about exact numbers, but really for exhaust on the vibe, your main concern should be sound as the gains from either are trivial.

with a cat back system you get a better flowing cat back. i think magnaflow said the gains were like 7hp? just a axel back will be mostly for sound like drunken said maybe 1hp
