hey guys. my ride is not back to normal height. after having paid 103.90$ to change my right front shock (plus 125$ for a used shock), 193.11$ to put back my OEM springs and finally 69.95$ for a useless alignment, all my problems are gone and my ride is now smooth, yet with less handling in highways entraces and exits. I wish Mike and me could have been able to do it by ourself to save me all that money. In the end of that 15 months in the droped club, all I enjoyed was last summer. I hated my ride last winter, and I have my prob with that shock this summer. we learn from our experiences. I now know I won't ever drop a car while I'm living in Quebec. our ******* roads are too crapy for that. over all, those 15 months with my Vibe dropped will have cost me near 1000$, including the springs, the installation, the removal and the fix. on an happy note, I'm gonna move back in Montreal in few weeks. My girlfriend-soon-to-be-wife got her transfer in Longueil and I'm waiting a confirmation for mine. We supposed to start on september 5th at each new job, so it's gonna be fast. we'll live at my gf's parents house in Ste-Julie for few weeks, time for us to fin d our on place and to move back. if some of you feel like helping to unload the truck in few weekends, it'll be cool. like everybody on miving day, I'll buy beers and pizzas.

Here's where. It's a 4½ at street level with a 10'x5' terrace. The owner just finished to renovate it (was still smelling fresh paint), we're extremely happy with it. My gf will be at a 30 minutes bus ride from work, and I'm at 16 km from mine (have to pass trough Lafontaine Tunnel). We're moving on septembre 3rd if some want to help. Be there at 3PM.
Ok well thanks.... you just confirmed my first feeling about dropping a car here in quebec. Specially when it's the main familly car. To bad cuz the vibe really look (and handle i guess) better with a inch or so drop.Welcome to the south shore... If i ever have a chance to meet you guys i'll be close
Good luck with your move I moved in June to a 5 1/2 and it was tough! I am out of town that weekend taking advantage of the long weekend.Maybe we can get together afterwards for a few drinks to celebrate your move?

Cant go wrong with them .Car looks the way it should be when you buy it...and improves the handling, which is the most important part.

All right.. i'll keep that in mind... I hoped that a minimum drop would be ok for our "nice" climat... but wasnt sure. Eibach or TRD do they stiff the ride very much or is it still acceptable for a day to day care ride?I dont want GF and kids to get back injury if i hit a hole
Time to back the computer! A tech from Videotron is supposed to come around September 13th to connect everything, so I won't be around. For those who can make it, we'll see each other sunday, for the rest, see ya in 2-3 weeks!
