Around town driving - What RPMs do you typically get up to?

When driving around town, typically when do you (or your automatic) shift?

I shift around 3500-4000 but driving I keep it around 2500rpm.

in my VGT i consistently hit 6300-6500 rpms daily.... then wondered why my fuel economy was lower than everyone elses! drove around about 3500 rpms if i remember correctly.current vehicle... 2500 rpm or less (keeping it below WOT to conserve on fuel) unless i need to ROMP on it... which it may go up to 6000 rpm.

I voted, so I should have replied. Ooops...I drive it so that it typically upshifts at 2800-3200.

I'll usually drive so it shifts around 2300, but occasionally I'll push it (accelerating in front of someone who's flying) to the 4000 RPM area.

generally 28k-32k unless I'm feeling frisky... and then my wife hits me

Try my best to keep it under 3200 but not always possible. I do most of the time

ok.... so I semi lied on the poll. I said it get's up to 6K, when all reality it normally shifts at about 2-3K. However, there is nothing more fun than hearing the intake roar a little extra when you hit lift, and watch the needle shoot for redline......
