Hi:Can I use, the tweeter wiring in the front door. (Blue and green wires going towards the mirrors). I want to make sure I can, before I buy the tweeters.I have base audio system with 4 speakers.
Is there tweeter wiring in the doors if there are no tweeters with the basic sound system? Are you sure those aren't for the power mirror? Are they hooked up to anything? I know on the NAV six speaker setup, the tweeters 'loop' off the midranges in the doors.

The wires appear to come off the regular speaker wires. Same colors too.So I am assuming they are tweeter wires. They are not connected to anything. There is another set of wires going to the power mirror.
Okay, so it's basically the same thing I had. The wires are just 'extensions' of the wires going to the midranges.Honestly it depends on the tweeters you get. You can use that wiring for the tweeters, but you need the type that can 'add on' to the system and aren't 4 Ohms themselves, unless you plan on adding a crossover as well.

Thanks for the advise. I searched for some tweeters and found this:Please advise if this meets your "add on" "crossover" suggestions. It is 4-0hm and the new stereo I got specifies 4-ohm speakers.
