HOW TO INSTALL A CAI ON 06 VIBE!!!!!!!!!!

HEY i installed a K&n cai on a pontiac vibe... and it took all day, but since NO one knows how to do it let me share.... I will be back with pictures and everything... but there is an AUX intake... which connects to the plastic tubing...and you think (removed) i just spend 300+ on a Cai that doent fit my car. Dont believe the coustomer service when they say it wont fit. just buy a AUX filter at an autoparts store... they are with the cai filters... its a little tiney thing. that aux intake has a tip on it which goes into the plastic tubing... take the tip out, and place the small air filter on it. you can let it rest where the aux intake hose normally goes:) after that you should be ok:) any more questions for the 06ers let me know the only problem with this instalation, is that it cannot be secured to the intake mount it normallly goes on.... it is just one inch off. but it normally wont need it, and you can just find a piece to put in there and make it work PEACE

Hmm! congrats!Toasted7 modified a 03-04 CAI to fit his 05-06 model.But hope it works great and you dont throw a CEL!PICS! PICS!

haha i did get a cel!! hahah oh well... it went away PHEW! i dont know how... but i took off the sensor... blew in it... had my Girlfriend rev the engine a few times while i played with the sensor adapter... and got the light off. (she thought that a cold air intake made the airconditioner colder so when i told her we were installing it she got all mad... then when she found out that it made a cool noise, and made it ALOT faster... she was all excited... i did notice a big difference... for instance... it makes a sweet sucking noise and it is alot quicker off the start.. (big improvement from the base model) my passing is smoth.. but loud on the highway. it is a nice improvement. but im thinking about taking it off until my engine isnt green anymore. but then again.. tampering with things like that isnt a good idea more than once.. i dont want to wear on the parts.

i really like cosmos... i had trouble with mine but it was worth it... it has a nice sound to it and make a nice sucking sound... plus a few more ponies always helps. wiht the magna exhaust i noticed a lot better performance... smoother accelerating.Well hope you keep it on, its already in there... just dont get too happy wiht it untill you break the engine in
