Front clip MATRIX/VIBE
As we all know they make more parts for the matrix then for the vibe (hoods taillights headlights) well those are some parts that i would really like for my vibe. Well when i owned a caviler people online were swapping front clips with the sunfire. Does any one know if front clips are interchangeable with the vibe and matrix?

That's a good question?Maybe check out both the vibe and matrix repair manuals to start. To bad I already got my JSP hood, Some nice projector lights and real body kit choices would have been sweet.

since they are the same platform there should be no difference. I believe you could replace the fenders hood headlights, and front bumper with the matrix with no problems. that would be sweet. maybe if there is a matrix owner willing to let you look at the difference that will help. from what I ahve seen they are all the same except the external parts. havent really dig into one yet though. but just looking at them they are the same. now the cost of doing this could be extravagent. Unless you swap the front bumper and fenders with aftermarket anyways. that would be awsome.. also swap side skirts with matrix ones. is that possible??? and rear bumper???

did some reserach. so far the only parts that I have found that wont work is the rear bumper. side skirts should go and allt he fromnt should work. The bumper comes up the tailgate a little too far due to different tailight design.

No sure if the front clips are interchangable however most of the body paneling for the vibe and matrix are not interchangable. The hood on the vibe and matrix are different so you can't replace the front unless you replace the hood, same thing goes for the headlight, they are definitely different. I'm assuming the if you want to replace the whole front end you probably could since I'm sure the doors line up in the same place on both cars (though I don't think anyone has actually measured to date). If you replace the headlights, hood, bumper and fenders in the front (which I think you should be able to do though the headlights maybe be questionable) you should then be able to use matrix body kits, hoods, etc
