Montreal road crews take 90 man hours to fix nine potholes: report Broadcast NewsWednesday, February 08, 2006MONTREAL - A Montreal city official says there will be sanctions for a group of road workers who spent the equivalent of 90 man-hours to fix nine potholes.An internal report obtained by the Journal de Montreal newspaper says it took three groups of three and four city workers on three nine-hour shifts to fill the potholes.The report says one night crew that was under surveillance over three days last month spent six minutes of their nine-hour shift fixing three potholes.In total, the three crews spent about 27 man-hours working, and the rest in restaurants and driving or standing around.City road crew workers make about $22 an hour.Benoit Labonte, mayor of the Montreal borough of Ville-Marie, says the workers will be penalized.

LOL I knew they were not fixing those potholes! MTL has some of the worst streets I have ever been on. Wonder why it took this long for someone to notice they were paying a ton of money to fix what never seemed to get fixed I miss mtl even with those potholes... never had a horrible time once on my many visits.

Yea,and 2 journalist of tqs tv station have done a 9 pothole in 23 minutes,to show them even normal people can do better job then col bleu. Seriously i want to work there,they have a strong syndicate who they protect them very well.
