Vibe with headers

Post by Shadow-Vibe »

Where did you find your best price and anyone looking to get rid of theirs?

I got mine from a MO member, but they came from JP Performance.

3 headers are made for the 1zz. The JP, DC Sports, and the ebay header. The DC is like $300 but there is no o2 sensor bung. So, that requires some custom work. The JP seems to be the better one since it had better flowing ports. The ebay one seems to be a rip off of the JP, but not really because of the fact that the quality isn' as good. For the 2zz, it is useless to get a header for it because of the fact that the OEM exhaust manifold does plenty well. Rumors say that the aftermarket one sometimes decreases power. So yeah.Inder

Hmm, well they make headers for the 2ZZ Celica, aren't they the same? Becasue I know the Celica with headers adds 11+whp. I have seen it on a dyno.

from my understanding, the stock 2zz header was pretty much as good as it gets. the 1zz had room for improvement

I am looking for it as soon as I find it I will let you know. I also called DC sports and they claim 10-17hp but they can claim whatever they want. I will show the ticket when i find it.

Yeah a 2zz factory header is good, maybe just a little polishing. The Jp performance header is nice come with O2 bung. So actually 4 header are made for the 1-zz. getting a high flow cat will help on uppr RPM's
